Spielwarenmesse eG opened Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi on 1 April 2016, thereby establishing a subsidiary in one of the world's key growth markets. As a wholly-owned subsidiary, Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd. will represent Spielwarenmesse eG and its trade fair and marketing services for the Indian toy market. It will also organise and stage Kids India, which has been held annually in Mumbai since 2012.

Die roten Reiter was founded on 1 April 2014 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Spielwarenmesse eG and represents a new breed of advertising agency. Its particular strength is its deep understanding of the needs of business, as Die roten Reiter is responsible for managing the group’s own brand portfolio as well. In this way Spielwarenmesse eG makes the comprehensive communication know-how of its internal specialists available to external clients from the worlds of industrial goods and consumer products. The agency’s team is headed up by managing directors Christian Medelnik (creative) and Christian Ulrich (consulting).
