A day for model railway and model construction fans at Spielwarenmesse

A highlight once again awaits model enthusiasts at Spielwarenmesse 2024. On the Saturday of the fair, consumers who are interested will have the opportunity to experience the fascination of model railways and model construction live, at the OPEN DAY in Hall 7A of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Advance tickets go on sale on 2 December, International Model Railways Day. Adults and children aged six and over will be given special access to Hall 7A, which is open from 10:00 to 17:00 on the Saturday. For the first time, relevant exhibitors will be permitted to sell products.

Normally, only trade visitors are admitted to the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg. An exception was made in 2023, however, for model railway and model construction enthusiasts. As a result of the positive response, the OPEN DAY is being repeated in 2024. Consumers can discover what is new in the field of model railways and model construction and can speak directly to the companies involved. Already nearly 100 companies have registered so far, roughly one-third more than last year. Alongside manufacturers Noch, Gebr. Faller, Lemke, Märklin, Schuco DICKIE Spielzeug, Tamiya Carson and Viessmann, companies such as Herpa, Busch, Paul M. Preiser and Glow2B will be on site. An action area will be provided by participating companies where their various new products and innovations will be exhibited.

All the information on the OPEN DAY, including ticket sales and a hall plan, can be found at www.spielwarenmesse.de/openday.
